Shopping for insurance can be a complicated experience. Even more so when trying to find something to fit the full-time RV lifestyle. Most people begin their search online and they quickly find out two things:
1. There is very little information readily available about what different insurance options exist.
2. When they request information, they wind up getting bombarded with hundreds of phone calls of someone wanting to sell them "The Perfect Plan".
Insurance, however, is not built in a way that a single plan works for everyone. Not every plan fits everyone's needs. More than that, needs change from time to time and what was a insurance plan one year ago, might not be the best option this year. Monk Life and Health Insurance Advising specializes in helping full-time RVers navigate the plethora of insurance options in order to find the specific one that meets their needs best. We don't sell a specific brand or product of insurance. Instead, we work with our clients to explore ALL of the options and help you find "Your Perfect Plan".
Each of our clients is paired with their own personal advisor, who works directly with them to understand their unique insurance situation and needs. Then, working with our massive network of agents and brokers, we search every option available to the client in order to help them find what option or options may fit those needs the best. Finally, their advisor helps them understand the different options and how they work and helps them enroll in whatever health insurance plan they choose.

The Path Beyond the Insurance Policy
Education is a huge part of what we do at Monk Life and Health Insurance Advising. Insurance can be quite complex at times and we want to make sure our clients understand their insurance policies before they ever sign up for one. We believe that a complete understanding of your insurance policy will help you make more informed decisions. As such, your advisor is more than just the person who enrolls you in your insurance plan, never to be heard from again. When you are paired with your advisor, you gain access to them for as long as you remain their client. Whatever your insurance needs, even if it's been 10 years since you purchased your plan, your advisor is there to help you understand and navigate you insurance. Have a question about a claim? Call your advisor. Your situation changed and you need to change or cancel your insurance policy? Call your advisor. Whatever your needs may be, we want you to know that we are here for you when you need us.
We also understand that needs and situations change. A health insurance plan that worked for you 3 years ago, may no longer serve you as well. You bought a house and need some additional life insurance to cover that debt over the next 10-15 years. As such, we offer each of our clients an annual policy review. This policy review serves two purposes:
1. We don't expect you to remember everything about your insurance plan. This review is a time for you and your advisor to refresh your memory of everything you have and what it does and doesn't cover.
2. Because we know needs and situations change, this is an opportunity for you and your advisor to examine those needs and make any changes to your insurance coverage as necessary.
Forgot you had a telemedicine option? Had a weird claim last year that needs reviewed? Looking at starting a new job that offers benefits next year? Established care with a new doctor that doesn't take your old plan? Your annual policy review is a great time to reconnect with your advisor and make sure you are still in the place you need to be with your health insurance.
